    That is correct. They say it doesn't work simply because it doesn't slide down the shaft far enough out of the box. I bored it out with a dremel and used a nut to space the distance for the bolt that tightens the hub down. The horn would work if i spliced the wires but I haven't done so because...

    It's a '92. I modified the hub because if you don't, it sits way forward. I used a dremel to bore the hub out a bit so it would sit back.

    Not to clog up the thread, but FWIW, I used to have a 10 rib setup and here was still plenty of room for the contour fans. Not sure how deep the cogs are in comparison to 10 rib.
