    I don't know that most Chinese companies even offer a rebuild service. I would just buy a master power if you don't want to spend a bunch of money.

    If it was a real turbonetics, it should have a serial number or identification code stamped somewhere on it. I've seen chinese turbos on hondas that have the T cast in them. Just judging by the casting quality, does it look like a real turbonetics? Have any pictures.

    My dads 01 cobra has a TOB on it's way out, so I know what that sounds like. I guess I'll probe around some more for exhaust leaks. I'm still 100% stock valvetrain, so rocker clearance should be fine. Still just at a loss as to why it's so down on power.

    Sounds like a good plan to me. But you might as well plan to run 10lb's right from the get go. I don't thinks it's humanly possible to go through all the work of putting together a H/C/I turbo car, and then only making ~350whp. :D

    Give forced open loop a try and see if it helps out. Since you can't change it in your tune, unplug the o2 sensors.

    It would be the same as doing it with Cobra or Bullitt calipers. Just need the bracket and 13in rotors.

    Top end noise?

    Long time, but I've been too busy to bother with the car lately. The noise is definitely too "metallic" to be an exhaust leak. And the other problem that leads me away from an exhaust problem is the car doesn't pull nearly as hard as it did prior to this problem. I'm still making a full 10lbs...

    Not sure about the AA stuff. But about the best setup for a stock T5 is the King Cobra. I'm running the LRS mongoose clutch kit in my car with no complaints, it's a little cheaper.
