    RestoMod & Brakes

Well I choose the kit from NPD with the slotted rotors because its complete from the master cylinder out. Comes with bearings, seals, proportioning valve, hoses, pads, shields, brackets. The factory type new calipers with stainless steel sleeves , which is what I wanted. All you do is add brake...

Would thicker head gaskets give me more insurance against coolant leak?

Thicker gaskets drops the compression. I have seen people use Permatex Copper Spray-A-Gasket on the gaskets to prevent leaks. I always dump some Bars-Leak in my motors if anything alum is used. Like intakes or heads. Some people dont like it. But I have been doing it for 30+ years and never had...

    RestoMod & Brakes

The slotted ones is the ones I ordered with the kit. My car is drag only. I was worried about brake fade and heat on short shutdown areas. And I cant tell you how many cars I have seen running Wilwood brakes that have put them in the wall from front brake lockup. No thanks I'll pass on those.

    Battery Drain

If you didnt have this problem before. Then unhook the wire and see if it goes away. Is there anything up there besides map lights? If not and they are not on I dont see how this is pulling the battery down?
