    Procar Rally and Belts

I have the Rallys and had to lower the seat pan + remove the brackets, but I'm 6'3 and need room for a helmet now and then. I'd say you should be fine. They seemed to bolt right in with the adaptor. In my other stang I have a 5pt and have put two eyes into a reinforcement in the package tray...

    1966 T5 Vibration Issue

Late to the thread, sorry. When it comes to moving the natural resonance frequencies of the driveline you can also look at the tranny mount. I had a vibration issue at highway speed and nothing I did made it go away until I swapped the PU mount to a rubber one. It's easy to swap and cheap to try.

Auburn Pro Series vs Eaton Detroit Truetrac

You definitely want the Truetrac for street/track, it's a real solution to a problem. Not the half-hearted old school fix offered by the 100% on/off Locker or maintenance requiring clutch of a Limited Slip type. 100% recommended by personal experience :nice: A Locker might make more sense on a...

looking for a how-to on enlarging the tranny tunnel

This my cut for the T-56. Have to say though that is a tad bigger than necessary because we were doing something more under there. :)

Sellling to people outside of the US

Ah, just noticed this. I'm in Europe so I often buy stuff in the US to ship over. USPS is by far the cheapest, also insured. About the only thing that's different from shipping inside the US is that you'll need to declare a customs value on the parcel. You can often agree with the buyer what...

    68 Vert Wheel Fitment Question

No info on a 68 but you're welcome to check my post here: Thanks to Streetking: 69 max rubber - 1969 Mustang Supersite Web Forums You'll definitely rub the leafs and inner fenderwell with less then a 1/2" spacer in the rear and the fronts will need 1" or more.

what t56 will work with my application

I'm using a reinforced T-56 with the Quicktime bellhousing on my 69. Still cutting the tunnel even though its wider than the eirlier years. Why not just get the T-5 rebuilt and reinforced? Call Pro-Motion Powertrain for ex. ProMotion Powertrain

    manual brakes.. who has them?

I went manual as well on the new car, 13" Brembos front and 11.65" Cobra in the back. Using a dual MC (the CNC one from NPD) and check valves. The car is not driving yet so I'm really exited to try it out. Everybody seems to love the CNC dual MC though and it's reassuring to see so many in this...

    CPRstreetmachines 1969 Turbo'd Pro-Touring GT2 build

I don't mind the BBK logo (all though they didn't sponsor, the cheapskates!). Doing a nameplate is a cool idea but there are already other logos around the car. Don't want to over do it. Here a rendering of the valve covers (laser engraver should be done tuesday) and the finished...

Which rearend gear do you think???

2nd that if you drive highways often. I have 3.70 but a very economical cam at part load + a quiet exhaust so its still fairly OK at 80.

Check your engine mounts too while you're at it. Could be worn or broken?

Debating on leaf spring vs. 4-link

Good choice! :nice: My choice of FAB9 with 5-leaf, torque arm and Panhard is after lengthy advice from the Chris Alston/TCP techs. They preferred it over the gBar for serious cornering with lots of available power and traction. I went 5-leaf instead of composite in order to be able to change...

Debating on leaf spring vs. 4-link

I'm a big fan of "if it aint broke, don't fix it" - also when it comes to leaf spring suspension. Leafs can go a looong way on the track with some help from a Panhard rod or Watts link. And if you run into leaf wrap problems as you up the traction or HP get this: Total Control Products On...

JMC hydraulic clutch and Power brakes.?

BTW, now that JMC is not making the kit and we have to buy individual components from CNC, I wonder if ppl are aware of Tilton: Tilton Engineering Doesn't get much better than that. :nice:

Where to position strut rod brackets?

Check the AJE Racing strut suspension. It does away with the strut rod entirely, uses SN95 spindles. 64-70 Mustang

Anybody have shelby side scoops on their coupes?

Why make the scoops functional? Have you EVER had your rear brakes overheat and glaze? Not me, and I race the thing... I just think it looks cool on there!

Lowered 69's? Anyone have good pics?

Mine too, that's the stance I'm going after on the new build. And remember, it's a leaf spring setup without AirRide. :nice:

Noisy Hydraulic Lifters - Any Fix Ideas ?

Areating sounds like a candidate, will keep the pressure up but volume low. Good hunting, it's soooo frustrating buying your dream motor and then chasing issues for months. My buddy is going thru the same thing here (Denmark) and many US builders dont give a **** about foreign warranty/help...
