Ha ha beat ya to it, mine runs, now i just gotta clear her throught and I'll be tearin up the streets with her. Got her all registerd, was easier then I thought it was gonna be.
Now stinger, GET TO WORK Gotta get another SVO back on the road where they belong. :flag:
I slept in the back seat of my Vert a few times, put a pillow on one of the top supports, and put my legs on a folded foward seat, fell right asleep, but my neck didnt like it when I woke up :nonono:
Well, thank you all very very much for your tips and advice. Thanks to a new COmputer, and some re-worked comp. ground wiers, the car runs. Still needs some work, a few adjustements, but it will start up now. :p :p :p :p :p :p :p <---My Face from Ear to Ear when it started and ran
Well, I orderd a new computer from Autozone, should be in Friday, for now I gusse I'll hit some crappy connections with a solidering iron. I have an LA3? from an 88 TC if anybdys intrested...
What years of TC, or other cars for that matter would have the same computer?? I'm puzzled by the fact that I'm not getting any codes from the computer, even if there was nothing wrong with it, I should at least get a Pass code...
Ok, how do I check the voltage at the TPS, and how do I adjust it, probably a dumb question but still...
Also what is the ECU??? Are you talking about the computer???
Well, I put another TFI plug in there and still no go. I know it gets a spark, I sprayed a little starting fluid in there and it lit the fluid. One intresting thing is that when I try to pull the codes from the computer nothing happens....I use a little Scan tool that I bought as well as with a...
Well I THINK I might have tracked down the problem, The Plug on the TFI is roaly screwed, wiers that have no cover, things like that, so I'm trying to track down a new plug.
The Fuel system is the only thing I can think of, namely the Injectors, I dont think there pulsing. I'm gonna run out ang get an Analog Voltmeeter and pull hte computer codes and see what that says.
I know the spark is getting to the plug, it lights a timeing light, and we pulled a boot off and checked. Its got good compression, you can hear it when it cranks, and the fuel is getting to the rail at least, I just dont think its getting to the cylinders. Which in looking at my Wiering...
The only thing I can think is have the Batt tested as well, the Alt could be putting all the charge in the world out, but if you have a bad batt, its not gonna take any of that, But that shouldnt have any affect on it running, only starting.....Hrmmm....Thats a stinker, Mignt have to go...
LOL
I've been reading and re-reading the Chiltons I picked up, and the only thing I can come up with is that the injectors arent poping, What could cause that, where and what voltages should I look for??? Also would the EEC power relay cause this???
My dad and I are going to hit...
Hey wassup people, I finaly got my SVO here, what a Beauty she is. But it wont start. I checked the fireing order, Cam timeing, dist. timeing, its getting fuel, but it wont start, cranks, gets a spark, just wont fire. What could the problem be???
Not too long after I got my '93, actually that day, the Rack went out, just replaced it with a Re-Bult one, un less its leaking, or not working there shouldnt be any reason to replace the pump, i didnt, and never had to put fluid in it again. Though, when you replace the rack, get an alignment...
