5W 20 oil is no good! no one should use it accept maby for the first 3000 miles for break in of a new engine. 5W 30 should be the oil of choice for all application synthetic or dino. :flag:
The first thing you should do is get subframe connectors welded in. Then start with an air intake then rear upper and lower control arms aluminum driveshaft exhaust system.... then after all this decide on gears :spot:
my production date is 3/03 so i think they should have fixed it by now cant hurt to check. The problem the other guy was talking about had to deal with the upper boxes. my problem was in the lower drivers side. :p
I suggest all with 03 stangs check your drivers side lower torque box as it appears the spot welder that did my car forgot to weld it in 3 places.. just fixed it tonight myself Peace to all..
I am wondering if you guys think i should weld my torque boxes on my 03 vert. the car is going to see about 95% street use and 5% track use if any. Thanks in advance.

You will need a strut tower brace k member brace in addition to the stock ones and heavy duty welded in frame connectors! i have the same car. With all that there is no cowl shake with the top up and a little with it down see my signature. :spot:
Nice schedule! I personally will wait till 3k then mobil1 5w 30 wll go in. Actually it really shouldn't matter as the factory fill for corvette, viper, and porche is mobil 1. :D
