    Turbos/Superchargers

The best place for custom V6 Mustang Turbo's is tmaperformance.com or something. Just google "TMA, Performance, Turbo, V6, Mustang" and you'll find it. Plenty of people have gotten kits from him and all have been satisfied as far as I know.

    Turbos/Superchargers

Well, Justin w/ the 10-second TT V6 has stock internals @ 500+whp and ~17psi, but the general concensus is that you probably can't go much over ~11 safely w/o new internals being a good idea.

Man, I was just about to post that.... but I didn't really remember his name. BTW, he sold it for an SVT Focus.

    Turbos/Superchargers

I will. Do you actually think you could have a turbo kit worth talking about for $400 bucks? Maybe if you went to a junkyard and just bought the turbo parts off of an old turbo Caravan or something you could get them for that much, but what are you going to make the piping out of? Aluminum Foil...

99-04 GT >>>> Type-S, not even close, but the RSX would give a earlier manuals a run for their money and walk a lot of the auto's... obviously it's no match for the Cobra's. Yeah, but he said that his friend went 11's for $5k in his car amd that no V6 could do that, so I said that someone...

    300hp N/A v6, how to.

First, I'd imagine you should be able to easily run 6psi (probably much more) w/o internals or anything like that, as long as you're intelligent in the way you drive AND have a good tune, which is of ultimate importance. Second, turbo's are notoriously unreliable, but that doesn't mean it's...

    Turbos/Superchargers

Well, obviously it's going to be cheaper overall when you can buy a civic for like $7.... but the guy w/ the 10-second STOCK LONGBLOCK V6 built the turbo kit himself, and all he has is the turbos, fuel, and drag springs... and he's in the 10's. Of course the CAR wasn't as cheap as a 10-year-old...

    whats the 1/4 mile time for a stock 2002 V6 ( Man. ) Mustang ?

To answer your first question... my car went 15.5@90 w/ a not-so-good 2.331 60' when I was virtually stock... maybe slower. The conditions were good however. I would shoot for a 15.7-8 or so in a stock car and less than ideal conditions. Expect any better and you're likely to be disappointed...

    whats the 1/4 mile time for a stock 2002 V6 ( Man. ) Mustang ?

Usually, you don't have to wear a helmet until you're in the 12's, IIRC.... that's when they told my friend to get one at least... never had it happen to me haha. Oh, and mid 15 stock auto vert.... not likely... but I'm willing to be proven wrong if you have proof.

    Turbos/Superchargers

    1. There are several 10-second V6 Mustangs.... one of which has an interior and a STOCK LONGBLOCK 3.8.... 2. Turbo > Supercharger, when both are built for the same purpose. Obviously a S/C kit will be better on the street than a T76 turbo for street driving... but a properly sized turbo will...

    300hp N/A v6, how to.

Just for a reference, the greatest increase I know of for JUST a new cam on a bolt-on 3.8L Mustang is 28whp. Of course, it COULD be more and often less... it just depends how many of the other bottlenecks are removed already and how the cam meshes w/ the rest of the variables. Well, my P&P...

    300hp N/A v6, how to.

Thanks for the Welcome, NJstangpilot... Here's the cataloge for Super Six Motorsports. I actually got my heads somewhere else, and there may be other places that have 4.0 P&P heads and such since the 4.0 has been out in other applications for a while. So here's the link... SSX Another...

    300hp N/A v6, how to.

Yeah, your torque converter locked up, so that is an artificial spike, but 198whp from a chip-only auto is pretty dang good. A chip-only auto 99-04 would make 160whp on a good day.

The 2 valve head shouldn't keep you from doing anything... the Z06 has a 2-valve head, too. Of course, that's a totally different animal :D , but the NUMBER of valves is not what's important, it's the Volumetric flow of the valves. For instance, "Stock 4V heads flow 260 cfm intake and 201 cfm...

    I Think I Am A Genious!?

No need to figure it out... it IS more effective than stock. Because it is open to ambient temps, it is drawing in cooler air and therefore better than stock. Also, despite the air having to travel further, the lack of 90* turns as opposed to a fenderwell is helpful. The final point is, however...

    CAI: Are they worth it?

For what it's worth, my car gained ~5whp @ the peak (and more off-peak) on Roush's Dynojet when I switched from a Drop-in K&N w/ Silencer removed to my BBK CAI.

Yeah, the race should be an awesome time for a bunch of V6 owners to meet and hang out... and get some racing in too. I'd like to race an '05 also just to see how I'd fair. The '05's are definately faster, but I'll have some mods by then, and a lot of it comes down to driver anyway. But yeah...
