    you dont have to be pushing over 400 rwhp to need an 8.8. nearing 300 torque and the right launch MAY shred your 7.5 to bits. not saying it will happen but its possible that it will sooner than you think. for now i think im goin for just gears and tlok, i wont be pushin that kinda power real...

    OEM or Aftermarket Clutch?

    ive never heard of either of those companies, and id say if your not gonna be racing or driving hard at all then stock OEM is your best bet.

    Ebay CAI

    ebay CAI's work fine and def worth the price. im pretty sure you need like a 4in inlet on the filter to make it fit. i had head the ebay ones have crappy filters so since i couldnt find a universal k&n i got an APC one w/ a 3in inlet and it wouldnt come close to fitting. hope that helps. the one...

    i do remember reading that FRPP had a lot of "00 cobra" engines w/ trannies that they were selling for 6k. im pretty sure i read in there that they are really the engines/trannies used in the 01's(post "fix") but that ford manufactured them in 00 hence the reason they are listed as 00 cobra...

    yeah just about. these are the stats from edmunds.com 98 v6 coupe 3065, 98 gt coupe 3227, 95 gt coupe 3280 99+ weights are very similar to the 98s but i think the 99+'s may be lighter by 30lbs or so

    p&p intakes and heads are not considered bolt ons. if you are uncluding those in your mods then it would explain a bit more. 97 cobras were what like 14.0 maybe high 13 sec cars? im not sure but im pretty sure the 99s ran high 13s

    hahaha whew. id say they handle fairly well. i mean theyr RWD and you can break the rear end loose if you want to and it will corner decently. theyre not amazing stock but that can be changed with some suspension mods

    i dont completely agree with all the stats given here about the 94-98 v6s. from what i am aware of they came stock with around 150hp and 0-60 times nearing or in the 9's. the 99+ come stock with 190hp as mentioned and your lookin at mid 15 sec 1/4 mile times(on avg w/ a 5spd) and low 7sec 0-60...

    i thought you could too but as it turns out the diagnostic codes that the odometer function shows are not any that cause the CEL to come on
