    You could run those cams NA, but really if you're putting on a supercharger you don't need them. The SC will make more power than the stock bottom end can handle with stock everything else. I'd just put the money toward the supercharger setup.

    You won't see any appreciable power boost from removing the cats. You can throw every bolt-on in the book at an n/a 2.3L and it will only gain you 10-15 hp. Been there done that.

Without forged pistons you're limited to 10 psi, which sounds good, but the factory turbo engines ran 15 psi on 93 octane and made 200 hp.     I was addressing that more to Supp22 because he said he tried an HID retrofit kit. I've seen the guys put the HID assemblies into factory lamps. I'd love to have factory HID's but they're $1000 a pair even with broken off mounting tabs on the light housings.

    HID's in halogen housings suck, never go that route. The light pattern is bad and they are blinding to everyone else.

    Mustang never really did it but I had the same problem on my Ranger when I first got it, replaced the charcoal canister and it's been good since then. Apparently if you "top off" the tank after it's full, you pretty often end up forcing gas into the charcoal canister and eventually it plugs.

    From what I've heard the weak part on the 3V is the rods, and the max you can safely run is 450 rear wheel HP. Beyond that, it's a ticking time bomb.

    I think traction control would only be affected if the two rear tires weren't the same size. Guys run setups like that for drag racing a lot, it shouldn't be an issue.
