    66 and a turbo

The shorties work well, but they will not perform as well as a cast iron trubo manifold. That link with the mustang with the custom intake is a nice car but he did not opt for an intercooler. I wonder what his EGT'S are? Im sure they stay pretty hot. I would not even think about running one...

How do you remove an 8.8" axle tube?

I think its like a 12 bolt chevy, you have to grind off that tab fluch and drill it out. The the tubed are pressed into the housing. Im not real for sure on the 8.8 if thats how you do it or not. Try posting it over on the late model forum, those guys would proably know. Why do you got to remove...

Nice chains but I hate throwing Iron, thats why I use automatic chains. The cost alot but when you use them every day they pay off. Plus you can activate them when you need them on demand.

    Moving your fuel filler

check your local dot laws first. Would really suck if you did all that work and they wont let you pass vehicle inpsections. Some states do not allow any vehicle with a modified tank fill location to be used for street use unless its a cab and chassie truck. Just something to think about.

DeVILBISS Gravity Feed HVLP Spray Gun

I have a regulator and water trap on the compressor itself and a regulator on my gun well. I usually turn the compressor regulator to about 30 psi and then fine tune it on my gun with the gun regulator

DeVILBISS Gravity Feed HVLP Spray Gun

Most people use two guns, one for primer and one for finish coats. One reason is that you can never really ever get the gun clean no matter how hard you try. But the bigger reason is most painters dont really take the time to clean primer guns, just a simple wash out with some thinner and they...

    Floor pans and hobby welder

You can go gas-less but the smallest wire you can get is usually .035. If you go with shielding gas you can get alot smaller and in turn yield less heat. I personally have never bothered to try to use gas on 110-130 amp welder, simply not worth the cost. The flux core will work just fine. Just...

Pros/Cons of 4/3 link or ladder bars

For mostly street use and some track use I would go with ladder bars. They are easier to set up, require less tunning and less trail and error. 4 links are great but you have to take the time and allow for minute adjustments time and time agin to get the best performance. You also have the...

How much did you pay to have your automatic trans rebuilt?

Find a shop that will let you supply the parts yourself. You can save yourself some serious money by providing all the working parts. The labor it the most costly part of the rebuilt so anything you can do to help bring the time down will save you money. I would not pay more than 450-500 bucks...

    Twisted Frame ?!?!

The quickest way to check is to take a piece of chalkline with out the chalk, or some other kind of stout string and pick 3 points on the chassie, anchor the string in a point central to the other two points and messure the distance to the two points. Do it in a few major places on the frame...

    Weber carbs/fuel injection

Weber also makes fuel injection, that looks identical to its carbs but has injectors inside, with throttle bodies. I have dual weber 44IDF's on my VW and they are awsome. Webers are very good carbs, but very very picky about dirt and climate changes. You also have to keep them in excelent shape...

Can anyone tell me how to put on a door skin, or give a good website??

Just buy the tools from the same people you bought the skin from. Almost every mustang restoration company sells them, one tool removes the old skin, one tool crimps it back down. Kinda helps to have two extra hands until you get a few crimps set so the skin does not try to pull out of...
