    +1 you read my mind.

    car wont go into gear

It's pretty safe to say, either the clutch was installed improperly or has failed. Going forward, you mentioned the clutch fork moves when the pedal is depressed, that isolates the issue to the clutch. Like you said, start the car up and it wont go into gear. If you can hold it to gear to...

    Coilovers on a DD???

Coilovers or not, the spring rates have a much larger effect on ride quality than where they are placed. However, how I understand it is that coilovers allow you to run a lower spring rate and achieve the same handling as a more aggressive spring placed on the control arm.

For those whos mustangs arent DD's

+1 IMO, whats the point if you cant drive the damn thing? By all means, dont abuse it and purposely put your car in harms way. I keep mine clean, wash it wax and maintain it like crazy and enjoy every minute behind the wheel. I've taken it on 400 mile roadtrips, to the beach, work...

    Bad Rag Joint?

It's been a while since I was under mine, but that doesn't look like the rag joint. It's actually lower on the shaft. That just looks like a bushing/isolator to absorb NVH. If you want your vehicles build date, check inside the driver door jam. The label has the production date printed on...

Next Car (most likely a project)

In the grand scheme of things, I'm not sure it really matters which one you go with. Money doesnt seem to be a major issue. Both are good platforms. Whatever amount you save buying an older 05 or 06 S197 over a cobra, you will end up spending in engine mods to prepare for that high HP goal...

    flushed the coolant, now what?

Back in 05 when I was an apprentice at a lincoln mercury shop, I did a coolant flush (pretty sure it was a taurus) on a car with the same dirty coolant / water. I cant tell you how much water I flushed through it; gallons upon gallons. I was able to get it way better than it was, but not 100%.

    I'm the luckiest guy ever!

I've had my 4.10's for about a year and a half now. City MPG seems to increase slightly, HWY went down a little bit. At a constant speed of 75 - 80mph through a T45, I get around 20 - 21mpg. T3650 may or may not get ever so slightly better. Lose top end? No way. It's more pull in every...

New To Site. Just got another Stang, Help!!

Sorry, I should have noted that the eibach sportlines are famous for "sagging" in the rear. Many others have had this problem. Shocks/Struts will not fix this.

    annoying rattle at 2500- 3000 rpms ??

Mine was one of the O2 sensors, and it drove me nuts for a year till I figured it out. Get under the car with a deadblow hammer and start tapping on things. You dont have to hit hard.

New To Site. Just got another Stang, Help!!

Nice car :nice: I am biased I suppose, its exactly what I have. The color is performance red. Artificial light makes it look orange. Bright sunlight and its red. Suspension: It would be helpfull to know your goals with this. The bullitt is a decent upgrade for a all around package, but...

    Bullitt brake package?

It really doesnt matter as far as the lines go. The lines dont make a damn bit a difference. MM just gives you new bolts with the lines. I quoted MM to hopefully clear up what has course and what has fine. To be honest, its quite obvious if your calipers are fine thread or course thread...

    Bullitt brake package?

From maximum motorsports: That text is from one of their SS brake line kits for COURSE thread.

Solve my problem and Ill mail you 10$

Thought this was going to be an easy one... The PATS, which it seems to be pointing at cuts out either fuel or spark from what I remember. Hence why with an un-programmed key, you can turn the car on, use all accessories and even crank, but it will not start. The really sad thing about...

180 degree thermostat! CAI. and pullies

I wouldnt worry about the cooler thermostat just for pulley's. Alot of guys run underdrives and none of them switch thermostats. A cooler thermostat would be of good use to someone with a car that tends to run on the hot side and is also used to trick the computer into adding more fuel...

2000 GT Gauge Cluster Wiring Diagram?

Did you get the autometer replacement cluster, or just the panel? Reason I ask is, the replacement cluster is plug and play, if you are having problems, the cluster is messed up not your car. If you replaced the panel, and put in autometer "nexus" guages, I'm pretty sure the factory wiring...

    slow 01 gt help

My advice would be the MPH mongoose kit. Couldnt tell you exactly which blower to go with, but as far as centri's go, from what I heard the vortech's are the most reliable.

    Should I sell my mustang?

Cars break, it's a fact. Doesnt matter what you own really. Some just break more than others. I'm sure that once you get all the bugs worked out of it, she will be just fine. There are plenty of mustangs out there, including my own, that are a perfect example of how stupid reliable these...

    Cobra brakes?

They do actually reduce stopping distance, and will not fade nearly as bad as the stock GT's. They are a great inexpensive upgrade.
