    Ok..so what is the average speed you drive to achieve those numbers. I've never seen 30 mpg. I see about 22 - but then I drive often at 125-130 kmh (that's 75-80 mph)

    Yes there are. Ford Motorsports, Racer Walsh, Esslinger, Crane, Wolverine. Many to choose from. Keep in mind - with Speed Density systems, they don't like too big of cam. This also the same if you have a auto (vacuum issues).

    Yes I did do a spindle swap as I run the 11 inch rotor and 73mm caliper setup. You can still use the struts on a stock 2.3 spindle but you have to use spacers.

    Does it happen when the engine warms up? When cold how does it run - normally? Take a look at the exhaust pipe. Is there excessive black build up in the pipe?

    In short - yes you can. I used all OEM '93 Cobra struts and shocks on mine. Work great, especially when running lowering springs.

    You can get a ok quality single stage paint (solid or metallic) from Pep Boys (for the US members, Partsource/Crappy Tire for us Canada members) or NAPA - whomever for about $70 a gallon. Rent an air compressor, buy a spray gun (with bleeder valve - unless you like sanding orange peel often)...

    There are two types out there. I run a superchip 1100 module. Got it off ebay for $42. They are a piggy back chip for your stock speed density ecu. I had to get it custom programmed as I run a cam, header and intake. The other systems are Tweecer or EEC Tuner. They are for Mass Air systems...

    Yep, they are available for N/A use. I run one. Only downside - you have to run 91 octane.

    1990 2.3 NA problem

    Any mods - ie: header, larger exhaust piping, intake? The car gets it's A/F mix from the ECU when cold. When warm, the 02 sensor starts calling the shots on the A/F mix. If you have no header and exhaust mods, I would say that you may have an issue with your 02 sensor on it's way out...
