    I am such a douchbag.......

Yep vacuum leaks are the biggest contributor to running problems. I had the same issue. Car was stumbling only when hot. Cold it was good. Found the PCV valve tube from the crankcase was old and missing a clamp to hold the valve in place, so when it got hot, the tube loosened and it would...

    Shocks&springs

You could go that route with the exhaust, but then why bother if you are staying normally asipirated? The 5.0 downpipe bolts up perfectly, weighs less than a dual muffler set up. Minor welding of hangers is the only real mod. The exhaust path is much straighter, plus it costs much less (since I...

The never ending list of problems...this time it's the heater.

Also it wouldn't hurt putting a piece of stiff cardboard in front of your rad to restrict air flow a bit. After swapping thermostats, I had to do that as it still wasn't blowing massive heat. Now temp guage is sitting half way and my feet are nice and toasty...

You've already done the upgrade to the 11 inch rotor which is good. Look for 73mm piston calipers off Lincolns. They bolt onto the 5.0 spindles. Make sure to upgrade the Master Cylinder as well. GT front and rear sways. Use urethane bushings on the endlinks. Subframe connectors Tubular K member...

    Intermittent Problem:It dies

there is a set testing points on the back of the alternator. Use your multimeter and set it to DCV. You should see 13.8v. If not then the regulator pack may be at fault.

    swap info

If you are doing the swap yourself - bank on a week. If you have a competent helper - then 3-4 days. This is taking into account you have the tools and egine hoist to do the job. The engine swap is the easier of the tasks. The mounting of the intercooler and re-doing of exhaust will take up your...

    Intermittent Problem:It dies

Also check two other things: 1) Fuel filter - when wa sthe last time you replaced it? 2) Alternator - check with a real multimeter to see if it is getting weak. I know you have installed a stronger one, but still check it.
