    Yes the smoke is out the pipes... I am going with the water vapor as it only happens when it is cold.... and I dont smell anything funny... like oil or coolant and neither one is depleting itself. Thanks for the info/help guys... you just saved me alot of worrying.

    its a ratio thing... the faster a big drive pulley turns the faster a smaller one does... by reducing the crank pulley in size for a full turn of the crank a smaller portion of the belt moves (draw a V on a piece of paper the measure straight across it near the center and then at the widest...

    DId the TB make a difference?? I plan an intake with tune and thought about the TB but heard it provided no improvement. Did you see power gains?

    no coolant loss... no oil loss... its sub 45*... today it was about 35*... I am all stock minus whats in my sig. I guess I wont worry about it... and will put the UD's on now that I wont have to go to the dealership for warranty work. Thanks

    My car is smoking... a white/grey when its cold... I would not be concerned but it still does it after it is full warm (30 miles later) and I notice that the cars around me are not doing it... while some are but not all.... is this normal or do I have a need to be concerned??

    Side Window Streaks

    When I had my winds tinted they told me that Ford did not put the flet strip along the top of the door where the window rolls up and down.. for $50 they added it to both doors... no streaking on my winds or damage to the tint.

    I read somewhere on here that a new intake was in the works that was 'suppose" to worth 40rwhp.... anyone have any info on it? I did a search to no aval. :shrug:

    I "heard" that is was to increase fuel economy (being thinner so less drag on the crank and other internals) and that with the tight tolerences of the motor 30 or above would not lubercate as well.... of course once the motor breaks in I dont see an issue with 30 weight.

    I get around 22 MPG for mixed driving (a little more highway then city and taking it EASY on the gas peddle)... I would say its stuck... the best I even got was 27.6 MPG and that was all highway with cruise control on.

    the TB spacer should have included two new studs that are longer...I used locking needle nose pliers to remove the studs.

    Not sure if there is a major difference but with the difference in weight of the cars if there is a difference than you will probably see the following 1) your front will drop lower then advertised and 2) ride quality may be less then stellar since the springs will compress faster and farther...

    the whole ram air issue has been covered in the 5.0 forum... most believe it only helps once you get up in speed... that way you get a "ram" effect... but a slower speeds it simply is a giant cold air intake... and depending onthe number of bends in it, it could actually hurt your power.

    I think...but have not really checked ... the stock intake is plastic so this cant be done... someone please correct if wrong...
