    Just some suggestions on material, if your using aluminum, 6061 works well, 7075 looks nicer. The only thing to stay away from is “O” condition. Look for T6, T651, or something similar. Anything that has -O behind the number is soft and gummy to machine. You’ll never get it to polish either.

    I've ran heaterless cars and just plugged it off at the manifold and if you're water pump has a threaded plug, do the same. Not sure how much of a cooling benefit 10" of hose provides and it looks cleaner without it.

    Been around for a while, but here it is. Shelby drop up front with one coil cut from stock springs. Out back, 5 leaf springs, 1 1/2 lower, plus a 3/4" lowering block. Original Shelby 10 spokes with 225/50's up front and 245/50's out back.

    If I wanted to get big power out of a 460, I'd call Jon Kaase and get his recommendations. Years ago Hot Rod did an article and got around 700hp with only heads, intake, carb and cam on stock 460 bottom end. They used Kaase's stuff since NOBODY makes BBF's run like him.

    Seems like I read years ago that you need to remove a residual check valve from the master cylinder where the lines come out. The pictures I saw showed a small valve being picked out of the line with a small punch. Or you could buy a master cylinder with the right bore (1" seems about right)...
