    They all make about the same about of HP/TQ, its more of a sound pleasure than anything else. I personally don't like the x-pipe with chambered mufflers, but others do. In my opinion, if you are going with flowmasters, stick with h-pipes. As for the flowmaster cat-back compared to weld in...

    Depends on how much NOS you are spraying... I wouldn't think you were over 400hp so a current Tremec t-56 should hold up well. I have seen cars with 500hp run just fine on these trannys... The danger is hooking up... you don't want these cars to hook up too well on a stock drivetrain...

    I don't work for Ford, nor any car dealership. I have to say that every ford dealer is independantly owned and operated. Ford's warrenty does get abused often, way more often than you may like to think. People putting on aftermarket superchargers, NOS, and blow up trannys and rear ends...

    Humm... I would have to say that you are over your tranny's torque limit, thus, preasure on the gears are causing the shavings. NOS comes on quick and really puts instant stress on the entire drivetrain... boosting comes on gradually and itsn't like downshifting into 3rd when your doing 80.....

    I thought the 99 to 2001 cobra's has t-45 trannys? But, yes sounds like a bad syncro... I had the same problem in my old 86 GT I had... I could make a normal shift into 3rd.. but, if I quick shift it, it would grind... a replaced syncro fixed my problem.

    99SVTAddict, where did you get your a-piller pod? I think guages are neat to look at, adds a bit of tuning touch feel to the car. I would like to find some that closely match the 03 cobra's dash gauges for a more factory look... I am scheduled to get the chip/pully middle of July. I swear...

    Thanks UM... I will ask those exact questions :) They are a well known tuner in the St Louis MO area - they only tune Fords, and mainly mustangs. They claim with my exhaust setup, I will see 110 hp on the dyno.. they will do before and after dyno's and I know they adjust a/f via the dyno...

    Unless he has the rare cobra of the bunch that makes 390 at the wheels... it is possible. 110hp has been noted from chip/pully/tune... but without the 30 hp from the CIA... it's iffy... but possible.

    03 tune / pully / predetor / dyno? $670.00 :scratch: Is that a fair price, or very high? I don't want to name the local tuner, just want to price shop.
