    For better acceleration out of corners you want lower gearing. High gearing means you can go to higher speeds, but you loose tourque. If you are building this motor to go to 9 grand on a regular basis than you will be able to go plenty fast with "normal" T5 gearing and a badass ring and pinion...

    The stock followers are fine, you can purchase solid lifters from RW but the cam needs to be made for them. I also believe Esslinger makes solid lifters. You dont want too high of compression if you plan on supercharging this beast. Supercharging is forced induction the same as Turbocharging...

    Will these SFC's fit my ragtop??

    The verts do have extra frame support, but they need more. If you look there is an extra support riveted to the "frame rail" along both sides. Dont hesitate to get more support though. When I put my car on a twin post the drivers door doesnt open. This is not a stiff body at all.
