    Cervinis LX Bodykit

Lord jeezez kids, who cares about post count?? The guy asked a question and if we are worth a damm as Mustang people we should help him, not chastise him. Back to the subject. I put the Cervinis "LX kit" on my 88 HB. The tape provided with the kit is a joke but possibly a MUCH better...

    Does 1/4" NPT = -6AN

No. The thread size and pitch may be similar size but the NPT is a tapered thread that seals by "interference fit". AN {Army/Navy I think} is a straight thread that requires a seat to seal. I'm not positive but I think the seat angle is 45 degrees on an AN fitting. It's been a few years since...

    Voltage Regulator aka Slosh Module

The Ford part # is E9ZZ-10E849-A. It is called an amplifier asy. and was discontinued by Ford on 5/23/2003. Try the obsolete Ford parts people, no Ford dealer in the U.S. shows one. The part on the left you show is an external voltage regulator used into the '90s, the part on the right is a...

    C4

Yes, if you get all 4 {bell, flywheel, block plate & convertor} from the same small block Ford car it will "bolt up" to the back of your 5.0. You still have to deal with trans mount/x-member differences, shifter differences, cooling line differences, driveshaft differences and be sure the...

    C4

With the large bolt pattern C-4 convertor {11 7/16"} the flywheel is the same as the AOD. I think it is a 168 tooth? {maybe 164?} flywheel. On the next smaller C-4 convertor {10 3/8" stud spacing} I think the flywheel tooth count is in the 150s {157?} and the teeny Mustang II {only} convertor...

    C4

The C-4 came in 3 different torque conv. patterns, bell sizes, and flywheel tooth counts. Therefore your bell/flywheel/convertor bolt pattern must match. The good news for you is the largest of the 3 C-4 set-ups is the same as all AODs. If you can find a C-4 with the 11 7/16" spread across the...

    yellow headlights

WOW! Those single piece units look good, Blake! I thought they would look stupid based on the E-bay pics I saw but on the car they work.:nice: You can clean up SLIGHTLY yellowed lenses with mild polish that is made for plastic with LOTS of elbow grease. But if they are too far gone, crusty...

    Fly Wheel and Flex Plate

Flywheel has teeth on it for the starter to engage. Flexplate is just a plate that connects crankshaft to torque convertor, like old 6 cyl C-4 set ups or Mopars that have the starter engaging teeth on the convertor. I think!

Is this a good deal on pony rims?

Damn! I bought 4 nice Ponys for $110 with garbage rubber. They even had 2 nice caps! $40 more and I bought 2 more nice caps from E-bay. Found four 225/55/R16 Pirellis for nothing {used car take offs} from work with 85% tread left too! Put them on the kids '93 and they changed the look of the...

    Is this a Mustang Computer?

It's just a sticker slapped on a case that has the engineering # on it anyways. The housings are all the same on the processors in the late 80's to early 90's so it is possible that the guts are all V-8 Mustang and the case is Tempo. Bottom line is it doesn't work so......

    water in headlights?

Yup, I had exactly the same problem with my off-shore ultra clear diamond cut lamps. The reflector never fell off but right after installation the LH fogged up. I was able to {since they were new} slice & gouge out the half-azzed glue they used to seal the lens to the reflector. I pulled them...

    Is this a Mustang Computer?

Judging by the prefix E73F, I would say it is from a Tempo or 4 cyl Taurus. Iwould have to run the number at work to be sure. I don't think it is a V-8 Mustang processor at all.

    touching up satin ponies

I've seen somewhere, 50 resto maybe, a spray bomb that was the proper "argent" pony wheel paint color. If you are bucks down with careful clean and prep, removal of the horsey emblems like Rmodel said you can get good looks that way too. They are rims and will be chipped and beat up no matter...

    water in headlights?

If they are your original lamps I doubt they are worth saving. If you could get the lenses seperated from the reflector w/o cracking them {doubtful if they are 17 years old} you could fix the broken metal piece and then reseal them. PITA however! Then you would have cloudy, brittle 17 y.o...

    water in headlights?

That metal piece is part of the reflector assembly. The water got in there due to a bad seal. It might be time for new headlamps! :)

From all I've ever heard with car weights being equal the car with the higher MPH is making the most power.

Why does Ford exhaust sound the best ?

Gotta agree with M.Y. on the PSD sound! I have a 4" exhaust, Superchips reprogram, and a open air cleaner element and you can here the turbo spool up very plainly. Makes a bird like sound at steady throttle and a very audible "spool down" off throttle. On the "Mustang" sound, I think it is...

I need pics of lowered foxes, asap

I'll try. 1 1/2 drop Vogtland springs, 17 x 8 Rohs, 235/45/17 Kumhos. I have been fooling around with shrinking some of my pics, I hope it works!
