    Hey, what's the Napa stud thing? I've got the UPR X-pipe leak, and was planning on pulling it off tonight, and just putting some high temp sealant on each joint with a new gasket, but if there's a better fix... ??? BTW, I've had mine for a month or two, so couldn't tell you about rust, but...

    I really want one. Yeah, there's probably not much if any performance gained, but I get so tired of my stock GT hood scoop. It TRULY does nothing except hold water and spit it out a few miles down the road... So, I've been thinking about a new hood, but a new hood is what $400-$500 plus...

    Yeah, I recently removed my spoiler, and had the holes filled. The lock is riveted, but you can drill it out, and replace the rivet, or use a bolt... I have an '04 BTW...

    best FITTING mid-pipe.....

    I've got the UPR X also, and have the same leak. I only notice under WOT and between shifts though, so it's really hard to find. I'm tempted to just spend the money of LT's... just didn't want to do that right now...

    Removing the H-pipe...

    Just a an interesting FYI... When I did mine last week I didn't have any trouble getting to the studs, but one nut on each side was so loose I was able to take them off without a wrench... This was on my '04 that I bought new...

    Since I'm spending money... what air compressor and tools to buy?

    I'll just throw out another. I've got a Devilbiss 60gal 6HP. The best purchase I've made. Lowe's used to carry Devilbiss compressors and tools, now I don't think they have either. I love this thing though. There's very little I can't do... Plus it was $300. Less than many half it's size...

    magnaflow question

    It's like Jinx said. You just need to get the car up higher. I had to jack each side up considerably higher just to get each new pipe in. I did the job with stands under the axles, but just jacked up the body while inserting the new tail pipes...

    Is this a good price for Dynamat?

    I recommend RAAMmat... I'll be doing my trunk one of these days with it. I did the floor in Dad's El Camino, and will also use it on the floor and trunk in my Belvedere... I think www.raamaudio.com or something like that... I stay away from Dynamat. They're just way to proud of that stuff...

    Magnaflow too loud?

    I've got the regular Magnaflow catback with stock manifolds and midpipe. It's almost too quiet for me, but I don't really want to change out the mids and manifolds anytime soon. I might be interested in trading if they're a direct swap. I don't know what the Magnapacks look like... BTW...

    Yes, they are black on the bottom, and charcoal on top. The camera does kinda screw up the colors though... The charcaol really matches the interior.
