    Why is there even a debate? 3.73's will be at an ever so slightly higher rpm at those speeds.... and even if they werent compared to the 3.55's it is still a steeper gear...like on a bicycle and u will have ever so slightly better acceleration at those speeds with the 3.73's.......I'M WITH...

    How much hp are you guys running in front of your t-5s?

    yes, mav is completely correct, if you are nice to your T-5 (no power shifting) then it will live long, my friend has 300 rwhp with TrickFlowStreet kit and his t-5 is fine and my other friend has a supercharger 347 putting 370 to the wheels and he has the stock t-5.....as well!

    ok, so i am getting a tranny swap to a manual on june 20th.....so next up is gears (of course).....and my debate is between 3.55's and 3.73's.... now my mechanic has 3.55's in his supercharger 347 stroker and he recommends i go with that.... because the 3.73's take away from top end...

    the reason i bring that up, is because the trickflow kit is reasonably cheap... oh yeah he had 3.73 gears...dont get undrive pulleys if u have a loud stereo...
