    My guess is that it has more to do with the Federal mandate for automakers to attain a set goal for MPG for their entire fleet each year. Building too many GT's would probably upset the balance and put them in a negative situation.

    I suspect there is something wrong with the way the computer is calculating the data. Have you tried calulating manually? That would be a good indicator whether or not the computer needs attention or replacing.

    Don't know about Florida, but I was stopped in Calif. last June in my '94. The ticket (not fixable) was $121.00 and the officer told me if I got caught again, that would be FTC and the fine would be $800.00. They have been off ever since.
