    Trick Flow Stage 2 cam?

Yea, I would try a T.F. stage 1 or 2 depending on your car's use and your rear end gearing. The stock cam is holding you back. Good choice of heads, if I had more money I would've gotten them.

    Trick Flow Stage 2 cam?

T.F. Track Heat heads, T.F. 1.7 rockers, T.F. stage 1 cam, Edelbrock Performer intake, rebuilt stock '86 flattop bottom end. It runs strong, but I just finished it a few weeks ago and my dyno shop is booked for another couple of weeks. I plan on posting a thread in talk as soon as I have numbers.

    ignition box help

MSD's and similar ignitions are a pretty straight forward install in a Mustang 5.0, so it shouldn't be any different for you. They even sell a harness which I think eliminates the need to splice wires. I'm not really sure what you mean about the resistor, I'll leave that question to one of the...

Starting fresh....help me spend some $$$$

Reading through your current mods, you will probably need to go to 24lb injectors anyway if you stay fuel injected, so you might as well spring for the MAF conversion. I would include a nice clutch in your budget. If your trans is fine than leave it for later (those get pricey). I think you...

Starting fresh....help me spend some $$$$

Well it depends on what shape your block is in. Since you didn't list rebuilding it as an option I'm guessing you don't consider that an option. I wouldn't go with a crate, although some may disagree. You can build more power for the same price. Since you need to stay in a budget, a blower...

    Trick Flow Stage 2 cam?

I'm running a stage 1 with 1.7 rockers. I was looking at the stage 2, but went with the 1 because I didn't want to lose low end (mainly street driven). So yes, I would suggest the stage 1 for daily drivers. It will improve your top end and midrange without losing much of the low end.

Fuel pressure setting with 24lb injectors.

To be exact you'll have to get an air/fuel readout, you can have it dyno'd for relatively cheap and they should be able to tell you. I would go with 42 until you get that done, but keep in mind there is no real way for anybody to hit it dead on online. Good luck man.

    Couple questions

Although Hissin provided diagrams, to quickly sum up the vaccum: Fuel pressure regulator, EGR valve, PCV valve, vaccum tree, and the charcoal canister. I think thats all of them.

Those second ones would probably look cool, but how do you turn on the "angel eyes"?

    WARNING

Devil's Advocate: The government has to put so much tax on gas to try and keep comsumption down. It sucks, but at least it will delay the exhaustion of oil.

    FFW - Norwalk, Ohio...Who's going?

Yea, as the time approaches anyone who wants can PM me for directions. I ran True Street my first year and had a good time, but now guys are running 9's, not very "True" if you ask me. So I'm gonna try Street Stang this year, it's for 12.5 and slower if I understand correctly, so it should be...

so i woke up today and now im upset...

Hey man, fellow OSU student. Personally, I would never bring my car within 100 miles of Columbus. My stereo was stolen out of my beater truck on the west campus lot. I would hate to see what would happen to a nice car off campus. Too much freakin crime down here. That's why I'll be getting...

    trick flow kit

Should be at 6250 if I'm not mistaken, I wouldn't purposely try to rev above that unless you've built your engine for it. The stock limiter cuts out fuel and engines don't tend to like that. I pieced my kit together individually and got Track Heat heads and 1.7 rockers. It sounds great but...

    Worlds most powerful engine!

The containers are secured pretty well, but obviously if a big enough force hits them they will topple over. The cool thing is that the majority of them are inside the ship so you don't see em. The fuel injectors are from the diesel generators, the ones for the main engine are even larger!

    Worlds most powerful engine!

I put the pictures on my Yahoo pictures thing, but apparently it doesn't let you link the specific pictures.:notnice: I guess the next best thing I can do is give the link to my page: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kissfan15/my_photos Hopefully this will work, when it opens click on "At...

    Worlds most powerful engine!

I'll try to get a few of my pics up tomorrow, they're on my other hard drive. When that thing is cranking at 102 rpm it is incredibly loud, actually we wore hear protection anytime it was running, but it's still loud through them. It was fun working on an engine where you could walk inside any...

How much should my convertible weigh?

I would guess around 3200, but that's just a guess. You have much more weight reduction than I do, so it's hard for me to say.
