    That's a loaded question, because what else besides an offroad pipe or delete plates can you buy for $200 that's gonna add any performance lol? You can buy gears for $175 that will make a much bigger difference, but it will cost you $250 for installation.

    No ill effects with the pullies for me so far......... I think overall its a safe mod for these cars. I wouldn't put them on my '92, but they seem to be fine on the new model.

    Good points bigcat- I should specify that the kit I rented/returned for $100 included the puller and installer. And I had to look at it first and have them get me their 2nd kit to make sure it would work before I got it home.

    I used the a standard 3 prong puller. Went to Autozone, rented it (they charge like $100 for the rental but you get it all back once you return the kit), and viola, done.

    You will need one or the other.... after I installed my Pypes offroad H I had no CEL for about three weeks- then BAM, all of a sudden it came on. Turning off the rear sensors via my tuner took care of it. Tom

    For those with a Shaker Hood.....

    Get a name brand blade with anywhere from 28 to 32 tpi- the higher the tpi, the better. There is really no power gain with the Shaker setup; its mainly cosmetic.
