    This is wierd. A vert for $4,500? That is an incredible price for a vert with "minimal" rust. Let's face the facts, the drivetrain and suspension would be upgraded to V8 specs anyways.

    You forgot to tell him which sparkplug was #1 (Front passenger side) If it doesn't drop in when you line the mark up with the rotor exactly, try turning the rotor a little to either side to let it more easily mesh with the cam gear

    You can get an Edelbrock chrome fuel inlet, either with or without a built-in filter, from Kragen...for about half as much as what a speed shop would charge.

    Gear Vendors Underdrive/ Overdrive

    My Lentech Street Terminator was $2,300. Windsor-Fox kit was around $500(?) Labor to install it and adapt the reverse lights and such was $425. I went this route because I didn't want to spend the time gathering parts and also I didn't want to mess with hoisting up a transmission in my garage...

    Found two possible project cars, could use opinions

    I thought it was a 67? VIN is on the left inner fender apron... have him give you the dataplate info off the driver's door too. Personally, I would take my time and buy something that I could drive in between working on it. Dicking with screwed up or questionable VIN's is a PITA.
