    put grease on the tap when you heli-coil the plug hole...the chips will stick to the grease.....just go slowly and a little at a time ....also, maybe pull the tap out every so often to clean it off and put fresh grease on it.......ive done many plug hole taps this way over the years and have...

    Cylinder 1 misfire after pi swap.

    wouldnt hurt to look for a vacuum leak at the cyl. #1 intake runner.....did you replace the intake gaskets too??? it doesnt take much of a leak to set a lean or misfire code...

    try cleaning out the iac motor. it is located on the side of the throttle body. use a can of carb cleaner. also, check for vacuum leaks....good luck!!!!

    try alackness powder coating....in royersford pa...2nd ave...ill get the # if you cant find it......i drive by there on my way to work everyday.....he used to be an auto repair shop but closed down to do powdercoating.

    2v to 4v swap, is it emissions legal?

    i know in pa......that the car is tested as if it was origional......as long as it has all the emissions equipment then it should pass.....especially the obd2 test.....hope this helps......

    BBK LT's and X-pipe question for PA residents.

    96 and up vehicles dont get a visual in certain counties with the new obd testing being done.....however, if your check engine light is on it will fail the obd test....therefore if your light is off and there are no faults in the pcm....you'll most likely pass the obd test(in certain counties)...
