    Time to upgrade exhaust

    The VT's are last resort. Today we will open H-pipe, and open the holes in the two main tubes (they are very small) in order to increase crossover flow. I will report how that works. Another tip we got i n order to reduce drone was to move one of the mufflers a couple of inches forward...

    Time to upgrade exhaust

    Update We will replace the two Dynomax super turbos with the new 'drone free' VT's Also we will cut off the H-pipe, enlarge the (small) holes in the main tubes, and make a H-pipe with an oval 2,5" pipe. Our theory (partly made from advise from members of this forum) is that this will...

    Not so happy after all.. We finally got: - shorty headers off, and HipO manifold on. - Rear transverse muffler off, and resonators on - new prefab 2 "H-pipe and tailpipe from NPD However, we didn't get the mid section pipe in 2" so we used 2.5 " The H-pipe had to be cut and spiced in...

    Engine mounts '65 -> '66 replace problem

    We have changed from 1965 type mounts to 1966 type mounts. After replacing the mounts (with a lot of hassle) yesterday we found that the engine had moved approx 1 cm ( 1/2 ") forward causing clutch fan to touch fan shroud. What is wrong?
