    Remember also that the locking pins that you have are not made to retain the hood, just for security. If your main latch fails they more then likely will not hold the hood down. If you are trying to keep the hood from flying away on you, get real pins.

    Bad...? '96 axles on Fox with 9" wheels...

    It really depends on the offset. I have aftermarket Cobra R's that are 9" wide and had to roll the fender lip with the stock length axles. If the offset of the rims is the same then you are going to run into a problem.
