    sounds more like the maf since you rev it up and it backfires. try unplugging the maf and run the car, rev it up does it still backfire? if it was an IAC problem, it shouldnt backfire when you rev it up, since IAC only controls idle.

    i would presume this code to come on while boosting. are you running a FMU or how are you adding additional fuel while under boost. a leaky injector could as well be the cause. usually when these go bad, you would feel the misfire as well.

    they are self adjusting. so just pull the clutch pedal up towards you. you usually will hear a pop when your doing a clutch job. you might not hear or feel anything if theres no slack for the adjustment to reset.
