    2005-2010 mustang?

For the 3V the later the better. In addition to the improvements with the head/spark plug design (on the later 08s thru 10s) all engines 07 and newer take advantage of a better ECU, and a better and simpler cooling system which uses less complicated plumbing. Also the chassis is stiffer, and...

Got the FRPP HR cams in

Interesting. Well that just may mean I have to work on the aero package a little to compensate and drop some rotational mass then.

    Aftermarket Clutch/Flywheel SERIOUS shiftin/drivability problems..Any1 else have/had?

Hope someone will chime in. I have a McLeod lightweight flywheel that'll go in mine as soon as the clutch tanks so hopefully this isn't a widespread issue.

    Barricade push bar

There's a replica that runs round here in Houston. I've seen it at car meets and just plain driving around. Looks awesome and for a second I got worried since it did look suspiciously similar to Texas DPS squad cars.

    Finally painted my valve covers...

That looks great! I know most people go for the bling of chrome and color matching but you can never go wrong with a nice black paint job on engine parts. Keeps things neat and clean looking. Great work. I love the textured look you gave them!

Got the FRPP HR cams in

Out of curiosity how's the fuel economy with the cams? When you get a chance to settle down from the high rev happiness can you post up some numbers on that?

Pro driving courses, anyone try them?

One more thing... try out some racing simulators. A good computer with a steering wheel setup and a REALISTIC simulators (like rFactor or GTR - NOT Need for Speed Underground) can provide hours of training without running the risks of damaging your car or getting hurt. It won't be as...

Pro driving courses, anyone try them?

HPDE (High Performance Driving Events) are a great way to learn car control. They offer a diversified and comprehensive curriculum for all level of drivers looking to start from the ground up to just polishing their skill with some track time. Many car clubs such as the SCCA and NASA as well...

Which mod should I do next?

I'm going to have to suggest tweaking up your suspension a bit to increase the fun factor and the control of the car, alternatively if you want to firm up the drivetrain and get good performance returns for your investment a one piece lightweight driveshaft should be in your future. Best of all...

    Cat back exhaust suggestions?

I love my Steedas. They are deep and aggressive without being obnoxiously loud. I almost don't want to change anything else in my setup for fear of losing the sound the car has now.

    Ford 3V intake manifold

I know... heh trust me I know :D Step 1 get the flow Step 2 get the forced induction. It sounds really good to me I like how modular you can make this. Think about a nice low spool turbo unit to pick up the slack of the possible torque loss at low RPM and then open up the breathing up...

    Ford 3V intake manifold

I'm thinking, this intake + Single blade throttle + Steeda UDP + Cams + Hellion Turbo Kit = WIN That just may be where I'm headed...

    14" brakes or not

+1 18in wheels will fit 14in brakes just fine as far as width or diameter is concerned. The Calipers (or hats) themselves are too thick and will not clear the spokes unless you buy the right wheel that distances the spokes from the calipers. Your other option (on the cheap) would be to buy...

    Wheel Offset?

Excellent! I just hope the car came with the big brake option or we'll have to wait until someone attempts. That said Stoptech does offer the template on their site for caliper clearance you could try to see if they clear. I tried going around dealerships and wheel shops in the past with...

    Ford 3V intake manifold

Heh my bad I got ahead of myself because it looked so awesome! I wonder how it'll run on these cars because I was thinking really hard about a nice N/A build with a stroker and this may be just what the doctor ordered.

    14" brakes or not

Your choice should depend on the type of driving you do. If you just daily drive your car and want a little extra bite getting some slotted rotors, pads and lines is the most cost effective way to go. If not you probably want to invest in something like a 14in kit and upgrade the rear lines...

    Wheel Offset?

Thanks for the reply. So far that's pretty encouraging. I'd be interested to know if they clear the Stoptech/Saleen/Roush 14in big brake kit because if they do I'm definitely going to consider a set. So far the GT500s or any Saleen and Roush wheels seem to be the safest bet.

    Ford 3V intake manifold

And......? What do you work for the CIA keeping this a secret? how's it run? what kind of gains did you experience? Looks great!
