    I haven't installed my HCI combo yet so I'll prolly spend another 30-40 on little parts but all together I spent 2200 for everything. Just search around and find good deals. I got everything but the cam and intake adapter used, but it's all in mint condition. I vote HCI for the price.

    As long as you don't have a high-milage engine, the stock lifters should be ok. Just checkem before you put it all back together.

    Looks nice from what I can see. Congrats on the purchase! I'd say gears (4.10's with teh AOD) and exhaust for the first couple mods. Maybe a new shifter if it hasn't been changed already.

    From what i've read, Twisted Wedges have outperformed the edelbrocks and you can find them for less. Maybe someone has some flow #'s? Either way you'll be happy.

    Not sure about exact #'s but the notchback foxes are the lightest there are. A 94-95 5.0 would be around 3400 or so while the notch would be close to 3000. I've heard of 2700-2800 notches with gutted interiors.

    I'd think porting the stockers and some suspension work would get you into the 13's. Maybe some DR's to make sure.

    As far as I know, the fuel system and MAF are the only things you neeed to change, but a new exhaust would really help you out on a blown application.
