    There is so much truth in this. When I got the SFC's installed on my 91, I could tell immediately as I was pulling away from the shop that the car was different. It felt a lot better, despite the stock 150K mile suspension.

    I put a Pypes "Pype-Bomb" CB on my car. It has LT's, O/R H-pipe, and no drone. Nice and deep at idle. Not to terribly raspy, very subtle at the highway speeds where my Flowmasters would deafen me.

    I had a very similar issue that turned out to be a red-top with an intermittent cell. Doesn't sound like your problem though. Pull your ignition switch and see what it looks like.     I'd put money on the O2 codes are there because you have a vacuum leak. Look around your engine bay and see if any of the hoses have cracks in them (you might have to give them a squeeze to see). If so replace the offending hoses to see if that clears up your idle issues. Car looks clean!
