    the piping is 409 stainless so thats probably why it isn't polished. the mufflers and tips are 304 stainless.

    i had the plastic crossover as well it didnt crack but i replaced it anyways. I bought the OEM manifold with the aluminum crossover from RPM outlet for $180 but I know people want to avoid that place like the plague.

    I think $500 for longtube install is the norm, but I don't know for sure. as for catbacks, they don't give a huge gain or anything, more for sound than power. I believe the stock midpipe is the most restrictive component.

    mine is a black t handle that says engine oil on it. May have changed starting from the 2001 model.

    ok thats what the pic is showing, as far as i can tell, i don't hear any strange noises or see that its loose with the A/C on and air all the way up.

    i just checked my IAC, doesn't look dirty at all so it can't be that. found another thread regarding the same issue here: http://forums.stangnet.com/744687-stang-hesitates-buckles-c.html oh and apparently there is no idle surge with the A/C on when the car is in park, only when the car is in gear

    yeah i was thinking IAC as well, but wouldn't it happen when its set to vent or off and not just A/C? my car idles perfectly fine with the vent setting. I'll have to check my IAC tomorrow morning.

    i would just replace the ider pulley, with the belt off if the pulley makes noise or even wobbles a bit when you spin it i would replace it. Idler pullies aren't an expensive part.
