    I'm a big fan of a custom cam. Ed C done a very nice job with myn. As for heads, AFR gets my vote as well. Pistons, I've run probe forged flattops for around 5-8k miles now, no issues at all. I also run a 100 shot currently, I'm going to try the 150 out now since I have BFG's mounted now...

    What about some of the adjustables? On the far side they do almost as well as a stocker, then on the other side of adjustment their like a 90/10?

    Dad could get him 135 now his wholesale cost, but they were gonna rape me on shipping then the tax since I'm in the same state. To hell with that. A regular passenger tire, he can do alright, but my god they don't break out the lube for a good d/r.

    I just use a high rpm 1st gear burnout on street tires. 3-5 seconds is optimal for traction for em.

    A window switch is a very good idea. I blew 2 air filters off in a week b/c I tapped the rev limiter and she backfired.

    VRS o/r xpipe, no fitment issues pipe to pipe, but for my car I have to let the midpipe sag some to keep the rattles out. Mac shorties.

    You can pick FL-1As up at advance auto or autozone or wally world (f*** that though.) The places that I know don't carry em at least around here is carquest and napa.

    AFRs with a custom cam and eddy rpm II intake. My cam is fairly aggressive, but drives very well, and comes in by 2500rpm. It also drives well below the rpm. I also only have the old rpm intake. I'd like to switch to an rpm II.

    AFR 165s get my vote as well. Can't go wrong with a TFS or edelbrock head though, all are nice pieces.

    For the price of that blower if it's in good shape I'd have it sitting in a box in the back of my room if you thought you needed to focus more on other things first, provided you could still pay for paint and whatnot. Do a little work to the tranny and you probably won't even want a 5 speed...

    2:73 = Bad Gas Mileage???

    My cars never seen the fuel mileage with 2.73s that a lot of people see or with any combo I've had period. I'd get 17 or 18 mostly stock, best was 23mpg almost all highway. Now 13-17 depending on city or highway, best was 19.

    I thought I had 3.73s but I think someone put new 4.10s in my 3.73 box b/c I'm out of 4th at 110, which is way too steep a gear for a h/c/i fox. I've got 500ish rpm left when I go through the traps in 4th, which when the bottle gets used my 1/4 days are done until i can regear the car. 3.55s...

    3k would be a fair price in my area at least. if you could get it any lower thats icing on the cake. The car needs some work to be pristine, but I've seen a hell of a lot worse project cars, and I wouldn't be ashamed to take your newly acquired "project" out for dd duty if needed/wanted.

    And thats where they went lol. Man I just don't like this at all. I just keep getting this feeling no matter how I route it or how I try to hide em I won't be satisfied lol. So now basically I got to get a couple of those wires behind my radio, run a couple more to the back for the heater...
