Best place to run wires through firewall

I have a fuel pressure gauge, air/fuel gauge, and a few wires to run for my n20 kit and bottle heater and was wondering where the best place to be to run these through the firewall. More than likely everything will go through the drivers side since thats where the gauges are going. Would it...

What ya do, how long, how many hours??

Fixing to finish up my machining degree, then it's off to a shop. Right now I'm working in my dads auto shop/convience store doing anything from oil changes, inspections, brake jobs to running a cash register.

    Engine hoisting?

I used 2 bolts that fit in the intake holes with washers and a leveler to pull and install my motor. Looking back I probably should've used 4 though, wasn't really smart.

Clueless as to wiring my gauges and n20 up

Thanks. My big issue I think is I'm scared of turning the whole project into a hack which I'm sure can happen really quick with wiring, and it would just eat me up if that happened.

Clueless as to wiring my gauges and n20 up

I'll admit I've never done wiring before, never studied it, so I'm completly lost when it comes to doing this type of stuff other than connecting the same colored wires together and crimp em. I have a triple gauge pod on my a-pillar, n20 pressure, air/fuel, and fuel pressure. It says I...

    Top speed runs?

Been in 140s a few times, wanted to keep going but I really wasn't wanting to have a high speed wreck those days.

school me on the performer RPM

I personally ran my rpm intake on a otherwise stock engine other than full exhaust, t/b, maf, and cai, and there was no significant torque loss at all. It lost a little pep in the lower rpms, but it would still set you back. The only significant difference I seen was the car ran better...

    Hatchback pop's open with force...

I bought the hatch striker but it wouldn't work right from the help isle so I took my stock striker and the new striker apart and put the new bushing on the stocker and it works great.

Little plastic cubby hole below radio

Gonna keep the cubby. Sorry man, I've got everything but the mufflers that came off stock and I plan on keeping everything. When I get a little older I may move up to a different car and return her back to stock.

    Hatchback pop's open with force...

Is the striker bushing still intact? My door bushing and my hatch striker went out the same day and my hatch wouldn't latch, nor would my door, so I replaced em all.

Little plastic cubby hole below radio

To me it's cheaper (ie free) if I make my own, aluminum won't take long at all to cut out, and I just tell the machine to make the pockets where I want them and I can make sure my switches fit the way I want em.

Little plastic cubby hole below radio

Dad has the tools I'm pretty sure so I don't believe I need to worry. I'm more concerned on how I'm going to fasten my plate now that I've figured out how the thing comes loose.

Should I buy a trick flow intake...

Do gears first if you need it. As for the intake, it's gonna shift your powerband up some even with the stock heads. I ran my eddy rpm intake for a long time with stocker cam and heads, no issues. It was just a touch flatter below 2500, and pulled more rpm (I ran myn up to 5800-6k) with the...

Little plastic cubby hole below radio

Ahhh thanks, thats why it was moving the radio when i tried to "pop" it out. I figured it was just little plastic clips holding it in, but when I seen it wasn't doing like I thought I figured I should stop and ask. Thanks again.

Little plastic cubby hole below radio

How is this piece removed without breaking it? I believe I'm going to take myn out and make an aluminum plate to go there for my bottle kit switches. Any way to hold the plate down once it's gone or will I need to do some mcgyvering?

    What route would you go?

My car with the h/c/i only really has one issue...the idle surge. Dunno why in the hell it does it but oh well. Car runs very well as it is, from the motor standpoint I'd drive it cross country. Transmission is gonna come out though.
