    Hey, if the purchase is that important. You definitly need to drive a 'Stang and a 350 for a weekend. That's the only way to be sure.

    Black is a pain, looks great for the 4 hours you can keep it clean. Personally I wanted white.. but every dang one was being sent to Roush at the time. I refuse to drive a yellow or orange Mustang. Black is just so sexy after a fresh waxing though!

    3K and feels like a different car??

    The 4.6 makes a lot of its power past 3000.... that's how it is. Also, I'm sure the variable cam timing has something to do with it.

    I need to learn to launch....

    I found sliiping the clutch netted the best time for me. I ready the July '05 issue of Motor Trend where they said they dropped the clutch at 4000 grand and it netted them the best run of 13.5...... yeah about that..... didn't work so well for me. Super spin using that method. I don't know...

    I just flew back from Houston yesterday (which I think is the Mustang capital of the world... sheesh, they're everywhere!!) I rented a car to get back home from Detroit... and I got a V6 Mustang as a Rental.. Now that I can say I've actually drove both... WOW, am I glad I got the GT...

    Ha, yeah, I noticed that the website has phone hours but not a phone number. From my understanding Doug is a "one man" operation. I emailed him last week, but he got back with me within 24 hours. I'm curious to the cams also; hopefully you get a response....

    3.31 against a 3.55; The 3.31 was faster..

    I was talking to a guy at work about it today and he said at higher speeds a taller gear set will allow you to pull in a certain gear longer. He said 3.73's and 4.10's are great for the 1/4 mile, but for higher speeds a 3.31 will be better. Does this make sense?

    Okay, so one of the guys that works out at the gym with me has a black '06 that looks EXACTLY like my '07. The ONLY differences in the cars are my window tint, SLP's, and I have 3.31's. We both have 5 speeds, 17 inch wheels, I mean these cars are identical. His car has 3.55's and I was asking...
