    The stock 5.0 motor in 1987 came with a 50mm throttle body with an engine compression of 8:5:1. I've been told the difference is in the heads and the cam and of course the larger TB. So the E5CE should work well. Will it raise the compression?

    Fuel injection for V6?

    Aren't most of the newer v6 engines rear sump. How would you clear the crossmembers? The 3.8L supercoup has a rear pickup tube but has an external oil pump mounted on the front cover. Is there some front sump pans out there that fit 3.8 and 4.2?

    Thanks jeff, this must not be a very popular swap. There's not much on the net about it. I,m going for a complete drivetrain swap. I wonder if it would even be worth the trouble. :shrug: The mpg's and power with EFI and overdrive, sure is tempting to try

    Just trying to gather some intel on what might be involved in this swap. I have a 87 EFI 5.0 and aod tranny already to go into a 77 2+2 t-top that had an old beat up 302 with a 4 speed in it. I need some good advice on this project so who better to ask than you guys.
