    Some one photoshop a 69 mach1 with a grump lump and Thundercolt plastered on it with the paint scheme madmike has laid out please. I need this to be visual as I ate a lot of sugary cereal when I was a kid and it put many holes in my brain. That and the drugs.

    My cobra knock off had the large baffle and still had oil consumption Problems. If you will hold off on the install I will let you know if/how I fixed it. I have a thread in the 5.0 tech section now

    Its not the gaskets as they were sealed. So well in fact we had to pry the lower intake off with a pry bar. This is a well documentented problem. Hopefully we fixed the problem. As soon as the oil gets changed I will find out.

    Looks like mostly egr stuff along with charcoal canister. To see if they are causing vac problems start the car and stick your finger over them. Some are solenoid controlled and may not leak immediately. Have a friend help. Don't put hand near fan or other moving parts or your car will eat you.

    So after bouncing back and forth on whether to buy a different intake or not we decided on this..... I know its kinda redneck but if it works it will have saved me a bunch of money and others will be able to do this or something like it and fix their oil consumption problem.

    Bump. I have oil on #8 but not #4. Pulled some other plugs and I have crusted caked on oil on them. I pulled the upper intake and their was a little oil in it, not enough to drip though. And oil on the intake gasket.

    Race ramps make a drive on one that you can dissasemble. The problem is it cost as much or more than a lift.
