Let me see some modified early mustangs

That was taken on our way back from the IMM meet at West Edmonton Mall. A few of us from MAA. Had a great time. There's a story behind meeting Gilbert Funk. Just goes to show me, Canadians are some of the friendliest people:nice: I love your 'stable' of stangs.

    What to do? Seatbelts?

The three point belts that are out there, you can use the original mounting points. However, I would NOT recommend the J-nut as used in the one above. That is NOT going to withstand the forces of a crash. IMHO. The kits come with threaded plate, which you WELD in place. Distributing forces...

Let me see some modified early mustangs

Thanks Centerline Matrix www.centerlinewheels.com/sub_wheel.php?mw_id=35 You can see they are all polished. I accented the perimeter in black to make the centers stand out. Got to have them powder coated, I just used a model black paint that is chipping now.

K What is wrong with this car?

I thought they were the same? You'd think they would be true to the one in the movie. That one there 'built by spike' doesn't come close, does it?

HELP need to find the least expensive way to put AC in a 68 Mustang

I don't know about cheapest, but the least headache would be a kit. I did the Classic Auto Air 'perfect fit kit' five or so years ago. Very easy, and routes along the stock locations for all pieces. Very clean, easy to install.

    What to look for tommorow

So the ad is NOT correct, when it says NO RUST. If the floor board is bad, the cowl, rear quarter behind the wheels. Usually that is rusted thru. Is it true or not engine runs good. It's not in so how do you know? New carb on an old motor might mean he was having issues with it and tried a...

    4.3 TBI Chubby nightmare

I know you said the exhaust needed work. Just a thought. A clogged catalytic converter will cause the same problem. no power when giving it gas sound like it's missing, idles okay, when it gets fully clogged the car won't start at all. simple to remove exhaust if it is clogged. no need to buy...

    performance brake fluid/pads.

x2 on the EBC "green pads". Work great with my cross-drilled rotors. Couldn't tell you the difference by themselves, I installed the pads and rotors the same time. Can't tell the wear, since I only drive it three or four times a year. Either to the track or on a road trip to a car show

    Rebuilding the 289

You know what was really the crazy part. Shutdown at 6K. Screaaming then silence. WILD!! My first time seeing a dyno. I got to think, it might even been longer than ten years. I think DSS had just started advertising in the mags when I already had my motor..... Memory, first thing to go.
