    after all that, there's only a few steps left for a blueprinted motor. Better prep work gives you SUPERIOR end work. might as well go all the way!

    do you like to hammer your motor?:D planning on power adders later on, you always want more power after a build. you just get the itch. If so, I'd go with the blueprinting also. no sense worrying about the bottom end. stock rods can handle quite a bit when prepped.

    thanks, found their website. it seems most FE builds out there are the same. except the high end builders. but definitely looking at an FE build in the future.

    Was this your first try at fiberglass? Must say also, the fit after looks great!! Nice gaps! Like someone said earlier, if your attention to detail is this good, I can't wait to see her when you're done!! You should be on cloud nine, with the way it turned out!

    two springs, one in case the other breaks. You don't need a stuck wide open throttle!

    That's why I never liked looking at a stretched spring, made to fit where it's not supposed to. A proper mount is the key. I suppose you could fab a bracket to the carb mounting bolt.

    I don't know bout running the springs you have now! What's the lift on the new vs old? The cam card should say what springs to run. All you need is the old springs not enough pressure and bind....lose keeper....dropped valve.......
