    Should i get subframes?

Get them. Muffler shop may be able to take care of you too. Cons: If you plan on autocrossing it will restrict you from some classes. Just a thought.

    Insurance Question/ Swapped Engines

1979 so I know it is exempt from emissions. Just a little unsure on the other inspection checks. I am not to worried about the insurance value. If it gets totaled then I will salvage all that I can and junk it. Hopefully it will not get stolen.

    Insurance Question/ Swapped Engines

I have almost completed my 460 swap. Little things here and there. Not worried about insuring and registering it, but what happens when I get pulled over and the info the cop has says I have a 4cyl?? What about inspections? It should be emissions exempt, but I think the added cylinders...

    460 in a fox?

A C4 can handle the power a 460 can dish out if built properly. A C6 will do it in near stock form, but sucks up a good amount of horses. Check out www.bigblockfox.com for more info. I have a 460 in my 79 now. Still needs some finishing touches. Biggest problem is the traction. Tight fit...

    TRX...HELP!!!!!

Last time I heard there was another company that made tires for the TRX other then Michellin. Can't remember the name though. If I come across it I will let you know. Your best bet is to call up some tire shops and see what they can find for you. I had a set (rims) and sold them for $60.00. IMO...

Will check those things too. Thanks :nice: I removed the pulley off the smog pump when I first bought the truck because it was seized up. For some reason it unstuck itself. Could this be causing a problem? Already checked for vacuum leaks. But won't hurt to do it again. Checked the...

    Engine still runs like ass.

A nice fat blue one. Coil is getting 13.5 volts too. Not sure on the fuel, but I know the exhaust smelled rich to me. What kind of tests can I run to determine fuel problems?? Could it be the Pickup in the dist??

    Engine still runs like ass.

This is a stock 86 302 in a F-150 4x4 So far I have changed the TFI, coil, plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Timing is set properly. Compression check done. 150-145 across the board. #1 a little low at 140. In park and neutral the engine will run decently with a little shake. and rev up...
