    The IAC is what speeds up your idle when the AC is switched on. It may be sticking and still not trow a code. You can try to clean it with brake or carb cleaner.

    Sounds like the starter. I can't think of any reason the wiring would get hot except for the starter drawing too many amps.

    I agree about bad wires. I had 2 out of 6 wires that were bad and they were new and not cheapies either (mid grade). Spend the extra bucks and get some MSD wires.

    I've heard mid to high 15s is average for the split ports so with a 100 hp shot you would be in the 14s, not too shabby for a stock V6 engine.

    It may cost less but your mpg will go down (about 3-4 mpg) so you don't end up saving much.

    Nitrous is the cheapest way but you can also install a super charger or turbo. A stage 3 kit (heads, cam, intake and tb) will get you 90 hp.

    I wouldn't go over a 50 hp shot without a custom tune myself but I always liked being on the safe side with nitrous. Even then you need colder plugs and only run high octain gas when you hit it. Here's a link for 6 cyl kits and at a very good price. You should still get an rpm window switch...

    If it is the pump bearings then you should replace it soon, it's about to start leaking. Hold a long screwdriver to your ear and move the pointed end around to different spots (while it's running), where it's loudest is the problem.

    If you plan on a turbo then stage 3 is the one you want but you should do it all at the same time, no use getting a tune then later having to change it again when you add the turbo. Also running 10 psi you really should to upgrade the internals to keep it all together. Just a guess would be...

    Unless you plan on a turbo or super charger at some point go with the stage 1 or 2. Stage 3 is more for forced induction. My personal choice would be stage 2 which will give you about 80 more hp (over stock) and it's only a couple hundred more.

    How do you know there is no spark at the plugs? Does the engine crank over OK but just not start or is it sluggish?

    I would try new plugs and wires first and make sure all the vacume lines are good and no cracks.

    I know the cure. Return the TB spacer! They have been dynoed proven to NOT increase hp or tq on these motors at all. On a carbed motor where it spaces the carb up higher they work because the fuel and air get mixed better but on motors that are injected it doesn't mix anything.

    I would have to disagree about changing gears also. If you don't plan on doing a lot of racing why put in lower gears? I put a t-lock in and kept the stock gears. The car hooks up great now and still gets decent mileage. We used the stock shims and put them back where they were and it lined up...

    Rear end work - Atlanta area

    Man I would NEVER suggest putting gears in if you don't know how. That is a great way to destroy a rear end. Gears have to be installed correctly with the right spacing and back lash and you need the right tools to set it up right. Take it to a shop and get it done right the first time.

    That could be an ignition switch alright. Maybe check the battery connections just to be sure.

    Rear Bearings and Seals

    Mine doesn't have sensores (abs) but I do know you have to remove the calipers and all to get the axle to push in far enough to get the C clips out.
