    Gears are over rated.....

At least that's what I thought for a VERY long time. Like most of you gearless guys, I was a member of your club for a very long time. Sure I read all of the COUNTLESS posts saying that gears were the BEST mod you could do. Yada, yada, yada! Instead I did all of the easy bolt-on's. Spent a lot...

Back from the track... And now in the 12 sec club!

This is such an old racer's trick. You sandbag your mods, then you go out and race. You beat cars that would normally stomp a car with your "claimed mods". Why in the hell would anyone do this? So everyone will say what a "good driver" you are. That's what it's all about. His times vs. mods are...

    XCalibrator 2 update information

For those of us who bought a SCT XCalibrator 2 just after it was released, got one with no end user adjustments and no data logging capability on the handheld (and very little with the current software). The firmware was not available for it to use these features. Once the Advantage 3 software...

Back from the track... And now in the 12 sec club!

The truth is this if he had 245whp car @ 3400lbs no matter how good his 60ft was there is no way he could trap at 107. It is not how good a "driver" you are; trap speed is all about HP. This guy is so full of S**T his eyes must be brown. With his HP he would have to have a least a 2400lb car to...

Back from the track... And now in the 12 sec club!

A bone stock LS1 dynos at 311whp. It will walk all over a GT with exhaust, gears and a chip. Just like you have to convert the American dollar to the Canadian dollar, you have to take the the track time you get in Canada and subtract 10% :canada: :bs:

Back from the track... And now in the 12 sec club!

I don’t know what’s wrong with you guys, I believe his barley modded GT does a high 12 @ 107 and here is why.... You have to understand that the Canadian air has 3 times the oxygen than the air in the states, and as it enters the combustion chamber it automatically compresses itself and give...

New SC manifold for 4.6 2V

The only thing you REALLY need from the kit is the alternator bracket. I haven't figured out that part yet, maybe fab one somehow or find a part #. To save $900 I'll figure something out.

New SC manifold for 4.6 2V

For those of you who are looking for a much cheaper alternative to the KB's and Vortech kits why not go with the Ford Racing supercharger ? I have seen it online for just under $2,200. It "requires" an install kit, but that is nothing more than a chip, injectors, and fuel pump. You can get...

Where are the good 2V 4.6 manifolds?

My point to this thread was to see if there was anything else out there that maybe my 100 searches of the internet overlooked. There are a boat-load of 99 to 04 GT's out there. If a consumer will "pony" up $1300 for a chunk of aluminum, there is A LOT of money to be made to put out a good...

Where are the good 2V 4.6 manifolds?

Help me out? Look at my signature. I have an upper intake plenum. I am taking about MANIFOLDS here, not plenums. And thanks for pointing out my toes. Touché

"you much better" Ummm...was the lack of your command of the English language lost when your last brain cell expired from loneliness?

Where are the good 2V 4.6 manifolds?

I've seen articles where they have cut the plastic manifold and glued it back together and gotten 8whp. Maybe that was all on the high end of the RPM, but it says there is room for improvement. I think your 700hp number is for FORCED INDUCTION and it makes no difference how long your runners are...

hi...... a beginners question PLZ answer

Go for it! As far as HP goes a "free" mod is just that FREE. How much HP per dollar was your last mod? I don't calculate mine anymore, it's to depressing.

Where are the good 2V 4.6 manifolds?

I've been looking for a replacement manifold for my 4.6 2V. Holy crap, the prices are outrageous! You got the P51 for something like $1300, a Bullitt conversion for anywhere from $900 to $1200 (the intake + all of the adapter stuff you have to buy + porting) and not much else that I have found...

    Installed my NON-painted chin *pics*

Looks great. I was going to get one and I see now that www.mustangtuning.com does not sell them anymore. Does anyone know the Ford part # for it? I can't seem to find it anywhere and my car is crying out for one..

Who has the Baddest 2V 4.6 out there?

Looks great! I know most when it gets to that point where you've done it all, they put in an 03+ Cobra motor. I want to see the cars where it's just before they get to that point! You can get mad power out of a 2V. Great posts!

    Home Made RAI... HOLY ****!!!

In most "ram air" setups the best you can hope for is a HP or two from a cooler charge. I have a data logger, and my intake temp on the highway, or just plain moving, is only about 5 degrees more than the outside air and I've go a straight shot intake. Have you SEEN the space between the...

Who has the Baddest 2V 4.6 out there?

OK I KNOW it a matter of opinion, but for those of us pretty new to the modular 2V scene, it would be nice to see who has not only done their homework, but has put it to the test. I'm not talking about "just" performance or "just" flash, but a well rounded combination. There has to be someone...
