    I'm thinking of putting Goodrich kdw 275/35s on fr500 18x9s. 9" is the minimum wheel size that Goodrich specifies for those tires. Anyone know if they look bad on those? I also don't want my cornering ability to be harmed by a less than ideal fit. In the alternative, does frpp make the fr500...

    It sounds to me like you have a simple choice. If road racing is your thing, get the 18s, drag racing-- 17s. It sounds to me like drag racing is your thing, so 17s would be be better for your application, and the fact that they are cheaper is an added bonus! Kind of like a smart, funny...

    That is the way I am going to do it, but my car is black, so I don't think the trim piece will be noticeable. If it looked bad without the trim, I don't see why you couldn't just paint the area where it would be black.

    I'm looking for new tires. I want a good tire for summer, dry track, road-race/autocross. Anyone have experience with the corsas? Any tire you like better? :shrug: I'm not concerned about cold-weather or rain, but I do need them to be street legal.
