    I tell you what, I had an unbored 66 289 4bbl that still had life in it a couple of years back. Without shipping it, I did not have a lot of luck finding a buyer. I finally let it go for $200 as a longblock just to get it out of my way.

    yeah, what dhearne said, the decelleration (sp) bog is due to the fuel int he rear bowl sloshing forward and up the vent tube...then into the carb.

    you should be able to get the car to grab with a stab of the throttle. Its the cams that get you this....it basically leans out when you jab it open, the cam squirts extra fuel in there. They are cheap to get a set and just keep trying different ones until you get the result you like.

    Rust under vinyl

    Shoot, do it right, peel it off, sand and prep the roof and repaint. Tops are not hard to put on, but to do it right you need to pull the front and rear glass. The tops are cheap ($50). I have done mine twice now.
