How do you know when shocks need to be changed?

yeah, I have always used a seat of the pants feel for shocks. Go over a speed "hump" (not a bump). If it does more than a single up down travel then you are getting there. If it goes up-down-settle then you are good.

How to have sex in the backseat of a 65

seems pretty ****in stupid to post a bogus title to get a serious answer to a real question. I though we were a little more mature than that around here....guess not.

    Equa Lock Clutches availability?

I ended up with one of these a couple of years ago. Again, it was sold to me ask a traction loc. I ended up ebaying it as what it really was and got some money back out of it. But yeah, that stuff is expensive and if I remember it has one cross shaft instead of the Tlocs 2 so they are a lot...

Main diffs between 67 and 69 interior

nah, its all differnt. The size of the 67-68s and the 69-70s is the main problem. Seats will fit, but will not look right (highbacks), dash, doorpanels, rear seat, are all differnt. :(

    Benefit of shelby drop?

Yeah, lowering the car is not the purpose. Instead it changes the way the suspension reacts to cornering. In laymens terms, under cornering the top of the wheel leans in causing a much better contact patch than the standard setup.

*** Ultra Rare 1967 Mustang? , Please help

coupe doesnt sound as promising. It may have been something that someone tinkered with in the late 70s. But, as I said, the IRS setup is pretty valueble in its own right.

WHOOHOO scored at NPD ocala today!

Went by there for a pair of those 15x7 styled steel wheels but they were out. But in the scratch and dent room I got some bargins. A 67 left hand full door shell, only $175 and a door skin $20. The door shell had been surface sanded as if someone was getting ready to put primer on it. The...

*** Ultra Rare 1967 Mustang? , Please help

I dont remember. The issue was probably from some time around 1998. When I have a chance I will try digging around to see if I can find it. Something to consider, if the car is reasonable, just the cost of fabricating a setup like that is expensive and kinda cool. It may be worth ******ing...

*** Ultra Rare 1967 Mustang? , Please help

I remember reading some years back about a shelby that was made as a prototype with an IRS. Just a thought, many people use the term cobra and shebly interchangably (those that are not in the hobby). Could it have been one of those test cars? Mustang monthly had an artical about the one that...

    67-68 door shells

I am not sure if I understand what you are saying, but the new doors are not complete, just the shell. You would have to pull all the internals out and change them over. And yeah, done it several times on my car. Not too bad, but getting the sissor assembly back in is just the worst when you...
