I don't think it is possible to make wheels that look better then these

Boyds I do not know if Discount Tire is a nationwide chain but they sell Boyds. The two shops I spoke to said they do not see a lot of quality or consistency when they get a set in. One shop sends them to a polisher to finish the job. The same shop said the rims sometimes come dirty with...

Is Sandblasting going to damage my car?

I sandblasted my first 67. The only regret was the trunk. It was a little wavy and I do not know if it was because there were so many layers of paint and I might have stayed on certain spots too long. Sounds like a good price to me. Here in Denver they charge the same.

    15 or 16's all around

Is there any tire clearance issues after the Granada swap with the upper ball joint with 16 inch rims\tires? I remember a post a while back of someone wishing they would have gone 15's or 17's because the tire was so close to the upper ball joint. I absolutely don't want to go 17's.

    Real world HP

To give you an example of the difference in old school horsepower figures versus new, back in 1990 in Louisiana I had my first 67 "c code" coupe with a completly rebuilt 289. It had a slightly bigger cam than stock, Performer intake, 600 Carter, no headers but dual exhaust, and it had a 4speed...

converting to 5 spd, and wheel question

Ebay for the pedal assembly will be the last place I would look. Use your resources, call used Mustang suppliers. You can use late model wheels with adapters from many sources such as CJponyparts. I purchased the assembly from a used supplier in Denver and then went to John's Mustangs and...

Purchase the January 05 Mustangs and Fords. There is a complete article on tuning. Holleys were the reason my Chevy friends called Fords " Fix Or Repair Daily".

    C4 to T5 transmission swap

The swap was pretty straigtforward. It is kinda a headache to get under the dash and change the pedals out but don't worry about the spring for the clutch pedal - you won't need it. The big question is if you are going to use the hydraulic or cable setup. Just continue to ask around here and...

    Mig welder questions

Over the holiday weekend I took the interior out of my 67 to find the jackass previous owner had sprayed a heavy undercoating over the floorpans. Once I hit the front pans with a wire wheel it was quite apparent there were rust holes under the undercoating. I took the front pans out and now...

    Aftermarket fenders V's original tooling

Just an FYI... I am in the market for new fenders, turn signal hood, and a trunk for my 67. I really debated between the two choices of aftermarket or original tooling until today at work I met a new client that drove up in a 67 with a recent paint job. Unfortunatly, here in Denver, we've had...

    Paint stripping

Use the angle grinder as a last, last resort. Why do you not want to use chemical strippers. Your only other cheap option is to block sand the car to death.
