    Id say gt40s, cheap and will get you in the 12s if you decide to spend the $$$ and go with afr's or tfs definatly bump up the cam size, like X cam or tfs stage 1 (or anything around those)

    3.73s should be good, if it ends up being too much and you redline 4th before the 1320 you could go to a 27 or 28 inch tire to solve that

    never know till you take it to the track, Ive known a bunch of people that thought for sure their car ran 12s or bike ran 10s. Finally get them out to the track and the car guys barly run 13s and bikes barly run 11s. haha

    YES!! plastigauge, it costs 5 bucks, is accurate enough for a regular rebuild and its easy to do. measuring it with a mic requires a set of mics ($$$) and is not that easy to do (yes it's only taking measurments and adding and subtrackting to figure clearances, but its not easy if you dont know...

    you dont have to have the latch there, lift off hoods dont and stay on just fine. as for anyone being able to pop your hood, I run little gold masterlocks instead of the pins

    get some drag radials and you should be able to 1.8 it out of hole and run deep 13s

    no ones bashing you, just telling you that its installed/driven wrong, if a brand new clutch is slipping then 99% chances are that its user error set it so it disengages at 1/4 the way in (3/4 away from floor) then see what happens

    I did like 100 miles driveing at all rpm's,cruise at 2k, then 3k, ect. even hold 6k in first at 1/4 throttle. but never WOT. change oil after 1 heat cycle then again at 100 miles, then 1000, then normally fron here on, which for me is like 2k.

    perfect, Ive done like 150mph like that and hood doesnt move or shake at all. Ive painted the hinges/bracket flat black since the pic, so now they blend in better lift-off hoods FTW!!!

    +1, my centerforce clutch is like 4 years old, and has hundreds of launchs on slicks under its belt. A properly installed & driven clutch set-up will last a long time even with high HP.
