You don't need to build up your bottom end if you get a KB 1.7L and run 8psi or less boost all the time. Getting the intercooler as well should put your stock stang at around 380rwhp.
+1 for Magnapacks as well...I have it coupled with a catted Magnaflow Xpipe and I love everything I hear out of that setup from accelerating to decelerating to cruisin speed. I've heard a lot of people saying it goes best with a pro chamber setup.
On the dyno sheet that came with the package on my K&N FIPK II it said 9.3rwhp and 13.1rwtq. I dunno where 27hp came from...don't think the intakes are any different. Haven't had any issues as far as detonation.
Yeah one tune per car...
You could get tunes for all 3 cars but only one of you can have the tune in. The way it works is when you upload the tune to one car, it takes the stock tune from that car and downloads it to the Xcal2 before uploading the custom tune. Because it only accepts one...
Good question...I think I'm gonna go 2800 or 3000...would the single suit me just fine for a mostly daily driver (it will see track time from time to time but not like every weekend)
I want to give my auto a little more pep so I started looking into torque converters. I'm definitely gonna go with Precision Industries but I'm unsure what stall speed to get...I still want the car to be streetable. Any input?
Ok sorry my bad it was with driver I was looking at when I said over 3400...but I was actually curious myself found this...Edmunds lists the Curb Weight at 3347lbs listed here:

For a stock auto its at least 3400 not including driver. Check out MM&FF magazine if you got the back issue of the "Ultimate Mustang Shootout" where they pit the '04 Mustang GT, Mach 1, and Cobra. They list the specs in there
