My installer told me the same thing. I drove it pretty hard within 25 miles of the install mileage and now I've put on 3500 miles since then with no problems.
Is it only at full lock when you turn the wheel? Tire rub will always happen at full lock, especially on a lowered car with a wide tire having the front swaybar. There's nothing you can really do about it unless you go with a less wider tire or remove the front swaybar.
+1
Other than subframe connectors, shocks/struts and springs should always be first when doing suspension. The other stuff like sway bars and lcas/ucas, etc will complement the new shocks/struts/springs nicely afterwards.
You should get the new intake that just came out...forgot what it was called. 5.0 Mustang just did an article on it about picking up 25hp from it. Just and idea...I know when I break something I like to upgrade the part:D
I have a sound coming from there as well...sounds like a metal plate rattling. Thought it was the heat shield from my cats but those are on tight so I dunno:shrug:
I will be taking it apart sometime soon so I'll post back if I find anything.
I agree
You won't be disappointed and you're car will handle so sweet. You'll be able to put that power to the ground better and have less lean and roll.
