    How much truth is in the weight factor for the 1/4 mile?

    Makes a huge difference, I took out my system after having it in for 1 year, and weighed it, it was about 100lbs with everything. I left it out, and the car feels so much lighter. Every pound makes a difference man, I would leave out the subs...save your ets and your eardrums.

    ANYONE SWAP LED's INTO THEIR CLUSTER??

    I dunno about the 37's there are other bulbs in the dash aside from the luminating ones...like for example, the check engine light bulb, low coolant, theft light, etc etc etc. Those are smaller than the 194's so those may be the 37s in reference....just a thought

    I use stabil in a full tank of gas, and put some strong smelling soap on the floorboards as i hear it prevents mice from entering the car. I dont start mine up until spring has arrived, it sits in silence from mid november-april

    I would try to fix it yourself because I shop will rape you. Take off the plenum (if you can) and try to tap those holes , you will probably need to drill out the old bolt first. Tapping new holes is a scary thing for me, and I have done it before, if you have never done it, and have nobody...

    How hot does a alternator get?

    Like bdcardinal says, it gets WAY hot, use the highest temp paint you can find. I used 1500 degree paint and its holding up well...excessive...yes...but I didnt want ANY flaking.

    150 shot! I think thats the problem! A lot of people on here run like a 100, 125 seldom at the track. But a 150, wet shot, with a plastic intake, you are asking for trouble. Do you have a window switch? If not, then you may want to invest in one, or that will for sure happen again. Bump it...

    I bent it after it was already in the block in order to get it to fit around the headers the way I wanted. It was a real pain, but it worked out okay and it doesnt leak so its all good, that was a frustrating 2 hours though! Good luck man.
